💦🌈 WATER PLAY 🌈💦

Splash, explore, discover & learn! 🐚✨

Turn water play into an exciting world of discovery, sensory exploration and open-ended learning with our carefully selected collection of water play resources.

From splashing and pouring to floating, sinking and experimenting, water gives children endless opportunities to follow their curiosity and discover what happens next. 💙

💦 WHY WATER PLAY?

🖐️ Sensory exploration – water offers wonderful opportunities to explore temperature, texture, movement and sound.

🧠 Early science & discovery – experiment with floating, sinking, filling, emptying, mixing and changing.

🫗 Fine motor development – scooping, pouring, squeezing and transferring water help strengthen little hands and coordination.

🔢 Early maths – explore capacity, quantity, size, comparison and simple measuring through natural play.

🗣️ Language development – introduce words such as full, empty, heavy, light, wet, dry, splash, flow, sink and float.

💭 Problem-solving – children can experiment, predict, test their ideas and try again.

🌈 Open-ended play – there's no single right way to play. Children can create their own games, stories and experiments.

🌱 FROM SPLASHING TO SCIENCE!

Water play can be so much more than filling a container.

Add natural treasures, sensory stones, small-world figures, scoops, tubes or containers and watch children's play evolve.
